Revealing God's Character Through a Growing Relationship with Jesus

From the Pastor's Desk

Hello Church Family :)

The fall weather is upon us! There is definitely beauty in every season - even in the rain and overcast days. I pray you are soaking in all this season has to offer, and the way God wants to show you His love in the everyday things.

We have some exciting things happening here at the Monroe Seventh-day Adventist Church, so please take note of the following and plan to be a part of what is going on here :)

CHURCH WORKBEE! This coming Sunday, October 20. We need you. Our grounds and building need some TLC - so let's come and get some much needed projects done together so that our building will continue to be a blessing to our community. Please talk to Justin Woody if you have any questions on specific projects that we will be doing, and plan to be here at 12:30p.m. to 4:30p.m. Check the weather, and bring your rain gear if needed.

EMPOWER YOUR CHURCH WORKSHOPS. Saturday, October 26. Please decide now what workshops you plan to support. Check out the options below (in the Empower Your Church advertisement). Are you thinking of starting one of these ministries? Are you currently leading or are involved in one of these ministries? Or, what ministry would you be willing to hear more about and support? Let’s show each other that we care about the ministry God has put on our hearts by supporting these workshops. Let’s also show the presenters appreciation for the time and attention they have put into helping us thrive in our ministries. Thank you for planning on supporting this great day of training.

40 DAYS OF PRAYER. Friday, November 1 will be the first day of our fall 40 Days of Prayer. Now is the time to get ready and set your alarm so that you don’t miss one of our amazing 40-day prayer calls. This is the easiest way to be a part of community, and to invite the community. All the details are below in our 40 days of Prayer Announcement. Plan now to call in every evening. Also let us know if you would like to lead out one night, you don’t have to be 50 like me to participate - you can be much younger and/or older. Take advantage of the beautiful time of prayer each evening; I know we will see multiplication of God’s Kingdom as a result.
