Over 15,000 children aged 0-19 are diagnosed with cancer each year in America, according to the American Childhood Cancer Organization, and every one of those kids will need blood transfusions to reach their remissions. On average, pediatric patients use 1,800 units of blood daily or 652,000 units of blood annually. You can support pediatric patients here in the Pacific Northwest who receive blood throughout their cancer treatments by scheduling a blood donation appointment. Donate at the Monroe Seventh-day Adventist Church Blood Drive on Monday, September 29th. Join us in the church foyer. Those who are 16 & 17 years old must bring a Signed Parent Permission Slip
